Bird-in-Hand


Bird-in-Hand Mud Sale: Catch a glimpse of some local color and enjoy sampling traditional Lancaster County farm fare.

30th Annual Columbia Antique Art & Craft Show: More than 20,000 people attend this beautiful outdoor juried craft show. You will find artists, crafters, antiques and much more.

Intercourse


15th Annual Berry Jam Festival, : “Jam out” and celebrate berries, music and jam at this lip-smacking, toe-tapping event that you won’t want to miss.

Saturday features the “Kettle Berry Cooking Challenge,” as well as a berry eating contest. Enjoy “Simply...World-Famous” strawberry shortcake, berry beverages, dips and sauces galore.

The Passing of the President - On June 2, 1868, the Pittsburgh Gazette reported that ex-President James Buchanan had died saying with his last breath, "God Bless my Country."

Step back into history with Harriet Lane Johnston and James Buchanan Henry as they mourn and remember their Uncle James, 15th President of the United States.

Fourth Friday in Mount Joy - Every fourth Friday of the month, downtown Mount Joy comes alive and offers unique entertainment and activities for your entire family. Lancaster Farmland Trust - Pedal to Preserve : Pedal to preserve Lancaster farmland. With distances of 6, 20, and 51 miles, this ride meanders through beautiful Lancaster County Farmland offering something for all ages and all abilities.

Proceeds benefit Lancaster Farmland Trust and help to save farmland in Lancaster County.

Beer and Pretzel Tour of Lancaster County - Did you know that Lancaster used to be known as the Little Munich of America? Or that 75% of America's pretzels are made within 100 miles of Lancaster?

Explore three local breweries, learn the history of Lancaster's beer industry and watch as two local pretzel factories show you how to do the twist.

To top it off, you will end the day with a multi-course gourmet dinner paired with…..you guessed it…..beer.

Schaefferstown


Traditional Cherry Fair: Held since the 1700's, the Cherry Fair fills visitors with cherry treats and entertainment. Enjoy dozens of skilled artisans, early American entertainment, skilled demonstrations, great food, field demonstrations, unique family games.

There will be lots of great food and cherry goodies to eat, cherry pie eating and pitting contests, the Sit-&-Spit, cake walks, a family corner, a pig roast, garden and house tours, demonstrations and crafters, a raffle drawing, horse wagon rides, and saw mill demonstrations. On sight apprentices will be there making candy and candles, and many more crafts.

Strasburg

Pennsylvania Railroad "Pennsy" Days - Discover the rich heritage of the famous Pennsylvania Railroad, the "Standard Railroad of the World."

Noted railroad artists, photographers and authors will be on hand to display and sell their works. There will also be special presentations, operating layouts, memorabilia and tours of "Pennsy" equipment as well as a huge, operating model railroad.
