Bainbridge

Music in the Vineyards - Every Saturday evening from July 3rd through September 4th, the Nissley Winery hosts a series of open-air lawn concerts from 7:30 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.

Enjoy an evening under the stars as the best of region's big bands, light-rock and oldies groups perform. Bring a picnic supper, good friends as well as lawn chairs or a blanket.

Lancaster City

First Friday - It is always a great time to visit Lancaster City on the first Friday of each month. Experience the downtown as 0ver 60 galleries, museums, shops, and restaurants extend their hours.

Kinzers Fire Company Mud Sale - Catch a glimpse of some local color and enjoy sampling traditional Lancaster County farm fare. This mud sale features plants, groceries, antiques, furniture, sheds, gazebos, buggies, quilts, horses and much more.

Manheim

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire- Welcome to the 30th season of the Renaissance Faire. Celebrate the traditions of music, arts and literature from 16th century England with hundreds of costumed merriemakers, Renaissance merchants, period foods, ales from a microbrewery, music, dance and over 80 stage shows including remarkably lifelike battles of lance and shield by the Faire's jousting troupe.

Friday Knights at the Improv Every Friday night until October 31, 2008, the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire actors step out of their 16th century roles to provide improvised, modern day comic relief. Audiences never know what to expect.

Mount Joy

Fourth Friday in Mount Joy - Every fourth Friday of the month, downtown Mount Joy comes alive and offers unique entertainment and activities for your entire family. Enjoy a leisurely walk and browse the many little shops and dine in the many quaint restaurants. With a different theme each month, there will be plenty of fun as you and your family spend time together exploring this special town.

New Holland

Beer and Pretzel Tour of Lancaster County - Did you know that Lancaster used to be known as the Little Munich of America? Or that 75% of America's pretzels are made within 100 miles of Lancaster?

Explore three local breweries, learn the history of Lancaster's beer industry and watch as two local pretzel factories show you how to do the twist.

To top it off, you will end the day with a multi-course gourmet dinner paired with…..you guessed it…..beer.

11th Annual New Holland Summer Fest - Where the bikes meet the brisket. Enjoy and support the Pennsylvania State Championship BBQ Cook-off as well as the Motorcycle ride and show. This is the state championship, so don't miss the fun.

Strasburg

Railroad Family Days - Sing along with popular railroad songs, enjoy legendary railroad stories, view operating model railroad layouts and displays, make take-home crafts and learn important railroad safety messages, along with a variety of other activities designed especially for families.

Hogwarts Express Parties - Kids are encouraged to dress like their favorite Harry Potter character for a reading from a J. K. Rowling novel in one of the Museum’s historic coaches. Your children will be amazed as they create and sample especially horrible potions and fashion a Hogwarts-inspired take-home craft.

Hogwarts Express Parties are offered on a first come basis. Recommended for children ages 8 to 13. .
