Lancaster City

The Christmas Show - Hear your favorite Christmas standards interpreted by the American Music Theatre one-of-a-kind band and singers. From traditional Christmas standards, to the seasonal sounds of contemporary hits by Jimmy Buffet, Michael Buble and Barbra Streisand — you'll be humming along with your favorite Christmas carols and tapping your feet to a rockin' holiday beat.

This year's all-new show featuring Christmas Around the World, a Journey to Toyland, the American Music Theatre Dancers, and Santa himself will make this a holiday season you'll never forget.

2nd Annual Winter Exposition - Whether you plan on buying some Lancaster County artwork or would like to see some of the finest art in the region, there will be over twenty artists exhibiting their paintings, sculptures, textiles, photography, handcrafted furniture, chainsaw woodcarvings, pottery, jewelry & more.

Ice Park at Clipper Magazine Stadium - The Ice Park at Clipper Magazine Stadium opens its gates for another season of outdoor ice skating.

Treat your family to fun and exercise at the only outdoor ice rink in Lancaster.

First Friday - It is always a great time to visit Lancaster City on the first Friday of each month. Experience the downtown as 0ver 60 galleries, museums, shops, and restaurants extend their hours.

Music Friday - Each third Friday of the month, downtown Lancaster hosts Music Fridays. Sponsored by WXPN, live performances will explode throughout the 300 block of North Queen Street as well as retailers, restaurants, and attractions throughout Downtown.

Each month will bring new entertainment to the streets of downtown Lancaster.

Agony & Ecstasy: Khachaturian & Tchaikovsky Presented by Lancaster Symphony Orchestra - Experience the orchestration of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 and the Eastern rhythms of Khachaturian's Violin Concerto, featuring violin virtuoso Robert Bokor.

Darius Rucker - The signature voice of Hootie & The Blowfish returns to American Music Theatre to promote his new country album “Learn to Live.”

With the #1 hit singles “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It” and “It Won’t Be Like This For Long,” the former Hootie frontman has taken country radio by storm. He’ll be playing all his hits from Hootie to the present, so this is sure to be one great night of music.

Elvis Birthday Bash - The Ultimate Elvis Bash starring Mike Albert, Scot Bruce, and the Big E Band. Mike Albert returns with his infamous portrayal of the King. This show is known worldwide for its respectful portrayal of the late Elvis Presley. Scot Bruce (as the young Elvis), Mike Albert (as the more mature Elvis), and the Big E Band recreate the magic embodied by the King of Rock 'n' Roll.

Mike Albert's Elvis Gospel Show - It’s no secret that the King loved Gospel music. In fact, the three wins of Elvis’ 14 Grammy nominations were for gospel recordings— including the album How Great Thou Art (1967). In his own special way, the one and only Mike Albert reveals Elvis’ Gospel side.

Driving Miss Daisy - Alfred Uhry's funny, touching and poignant Pulitzer Prize winning play spans some of the most tumultuous years in American Civil Rights history.

The place is the Deep South, the time 1948, and the rich, crusty and sharp-tongued 72-year-old Jewish widow Daisy Werthan has demolished another car. Her businessman son, Boolie, hires Hoke, a thoughtful, unemployed black man to serve as his mother's chauffeur.

The next 25 years show a story of stubbornness, independence, and the gentle evolution of a most unlikely friendship.

Fourth Friday in Mount Joy - Every fourth Friday of the month, downtown Mount Joy comes alive and offers unique entertainment and activities for your entire family. Miracle of Christmas - Christmas memories jump to life as a brand-new sensory experience highlights the return of Miracle of Christmas to the Millennium Theatre. As the aroma of special holiday treats fills your breath, you'll have the opportunity to interact with characters and animals from the Nativity story. The Millennium Theatre will be grandly decorated with lights, greenery, Nativity scenes and a spectacular thirty-foot Christmas tree.
