Intercourse

Simply...Old Fashioned Christmas Friday Nights - Enjoy the holiday magic as the Village is decorated for the seasonal festivities. Take a leisurely stroll through the shops of the village accompanied by the pleasant sound of musicians wandering along the avenues.

Lancaster City

A Lancaster Christmas - Discover how Christmas traditions have evolved over time. Historically-recreated settings depict the many changing ways that Christmas has been celebrated for each decade from 1850 through 1960. There will also be a special tribute to F. W. Woolworth's first 5 & 10 store, established 125 years ago in Lancaster, PA.

Trees Galore! - The museum’s annual holiday exhibition features art work by regional artists and friends of the Museum. There will be an art auction as well.

Country Christmas Village - When you visit the Landis Valley Museum's Country Christmas Village, you will experience Pennsylvania German contributions to Christmas with warm cider and freshly baked cookies, holiday decorated trees and "der Belsnickel."

Mayor's Tree Lighting - The official kickoff of the holiday season and festivities.

Old-Fashioned Holiday Weekends - During this special holiday celebration, activities include a holiday house with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, holly-trolley tours, a model train display, and much more.

Countdown Lancaster - Come celebrate New Year’s Eve in the good old-fashioned Lancaster County way. There'll be loads of family-oriented entertainment featuring over 100 performers. There'll also be fireworks and a grand finale to usher in the new year. All events are within easy walking distance. Shuttle service is also provided.

Lititz

Carol Sing at Moravian Church Square - Warm your spirits and join the townsfolk as they gather together to sing Christmas carols in front of the Moravian Sanctuary. Refreshments follow inside the church's social hall.

Lovin' Lititz Every Second - Enjoy an evening featuring art, history, shopping, fellowship and music throughout Lititz. Discover this historic town known for chocolate, historical buildings and great art. Musicians will perform, artists will exhibit works along the sidewalks and merchants will open their doors to visitors.

Manheim

A Dickens of a Christmas - Celebrate the holiday season with caroling, parlor games and intimate theater shows performed by entertainers in full Dickensian garb.

Strasburg

Day Out With Thomas - Join Thomas the Tank Engine, a full-sized, operating steam locomotive, as he chugs into town with his friends. Ride a train pulled by Thomas and meet Sir Topham Hatt. There will be storytelling, live music, and more fun for kids.

Home for the Holidays - Take a nostalgic glimpse at holiday rail travel. Meet costumed engineers, conductors, ticket agents and passengers representing the past century. Enjoy seasonal music and festive decorations among a world class collection of trains.

Polar Express Parties - Your child will be greeted by a costumed conductor and enjoy an enthusiastic reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s new classic holiday story “The Polar Express” in the Museum’s 1907 Pennsylvania Railroad P70 coach No. 1006. Following the reading, your child will make his or her own take-home craft in Jack Frost Station and receive a bag of goodies. They can also visit Santa in Steinman Station.

Santa's Paradise Express - Recapture the magic of the holiday season. Potbelly stoves gently warm the passenger cars as you travel with Santa. Sing Christmas carols along with musicians as they stroll from car to car. If you listen carefully, you may even hear the sounds of ringing bells.
