A Moveable Feast: From the Farm to the Table by Train - Over the last two centuries, America’s trains have transported food and food products across the continent, helping to feed millions of people. Through the use of photographs and artifacts, this exhibit chronicles how railroads delivered food from the farm to the table; how railroads –through advancements in technology –revolutionized both what we ate and the way in which we ate; and, how the culinary experience of railroad dining and café cars became a staple of passenger train service.

Pennsys Days 2007 - Pennsy Days annual weekend is traditionally filled with interesting activities for the entire family. There will be exhibits of original work by railroad artists and authors; displays of memorabilia and collectibles; historical presentations; tours of locomotives and railroad cars; operating model railroads and other special events for Railroad Museum visitors. The event is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission, the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society, Philadelphia chapter.

Day Out With Thomas - Join Thomas the Tank Engine, a full-sized, operating steam locomotive, as he chugs into town with his friends. Ride a train pulled by Thomas and meet Sir Topham Hatt. There will be storytelling, live music, and more fun for kids.
