Once again, the dates, times, and admission prices listed for these events are accurate as of the time of this posting. However, it is possible that changes may occur as the year progresses.

Therefore, please check back periodically to see if there have been any updates. We will plan to list more events as information becomes available.

July

45th Annual Open Art Award Exhibit - The Lancaster Summer Arts Festival’s annual exhibition featuring art work by Lancaster County artists.

HISTORICON 2007 - HISTORICON is the largest wargaming convention in North America. Each year approximately 5,000 tabletop generals attend this gaming convention to send miniature troops into battle and play with history. The convention is open to the public and includes a giant exhibitor hall, tournaments, military history seminars, workshops, games, a flea market and much more.

August

Summer Entertainment Series - Every Sunday evening in August, Long's Park invites you to a free musical concert. Bring a blanket and chairs and picnic under the stars. Family foods and desserts will also be available.

29th Annual Long's Park Art & Craft Festival - Recognized as one of American's top fine art and contemporary craft shows, this annual Labor Day weekend event features 200 exhibitors from across the country. Exquisite jewelry, magnificent paintings, trend-setting apparel and leather, beautiful ceramics and mixed media creations, stunning sculptures and much more will be on display. In addition there will be plenty of live music and gourmet cuisine all weekend long.

29th Annual Long's Park Art & Craft Festival - Recognized as one of American's top fine art and contemporary craft shows, this annual Labor Day weekend event features 200 exhibitors from across the country. Exquisite jewelry, magnificent paintings, trend-setting apparel and leather, beautiful ceramics and mixed media creations, stunning sculptures and much more will be on display. In addition there will be plenty of live music and gourmet cuisine all weekend long.

22nd Annual Hospice of Lancaster County Labor Day Auction - This popular benefit auction attracts approximately 8,000-10,000 people each year. You will find thousands of handcrafted items including quilts, furniture, artwork and some of the best Pennsylvania Dutch food prepared fresh on-site by Lancaster County Amish chefs.

Pumpkin Patch Days - Kids will have fun plucking a pumpkin from a patch and building their own scarecrow during these autumn days. The hands-on activities are both fun and educational.

48th Annual Harvest Days -Celebrate Pennsylvania German traditional fall harvest events. Over eighty demonstrations make the village come to life.

11th Annual Fall Farm Days - Your entire family will enjoy this old-fashioned weekend at the Amish Farm & House. The weekend is a celebration of Autumn and Pennsylvania Dutch traditions. There will be farm-themed children's activities including buggy and wagon rides, contests and tours of the Amish Farm and House.There will also be cooking demonstrations ranging from apple and snitz pie-making to apple cider, butter and apple butter-making. Plenty of samples will be available. Also on hand will be blacksmiths, woodcarvers, quilters showing off their skills. ul>

Historically-recreated settings depict the many changing ways that Christmas has been celebrated for each decade from 1850 through 1960. There will also be a special tribute to F. W. Woolworth's first 5 & 10 store, established 125 years ago in Lancaster, PA.
