Adamstown

Antiques Extravaganva - Over 5,000 antique dealers will showcase their antiques for sale. Over the years, top antique collectors from all over the world, as well as amateur collectors, have succumbed to the charms of Adamstown, which has become the premier year-round antiques destination in the Northeast.

Ephrata

Ephrata Cloister 1900 -The 20th-century began with a memory of Victorian life and an eye set on the industrialization of a new age. New interest in the Cloister attracted artists, authors, tourists with cars and cameras.

Relive the period from the 1880s through the 1920s as the day comes alive with antique cars, a baseball game, and tours of the upper levels of the Sisters’ House fitted with images of the displays that cone filled the empty rooms.

3rd Friday's A Charm - On every third Friday of the month, the shops of downtown Ephrata invite you to a special celebration. The monthly event serves as the perfect introduction to this Lancaster County city as well as something to look forward to for regular visitors.

Intercourse

7 Sweets & Sours Festival - A fun celebration of food, music and dance that pays tribute to Lancaster County's Pennsylvania Dutch heritage and the joy of eating. Sample some beet grog or beet and pineapple contusion; go deep in the apple bob; picnic under a large tent; and, square dance in the Village square.

Lancaster City

Classic Crooners: This show celebrates all the iconic crooners like Bing Crosby, Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney. The Sound of Music : Revisit this timeless family classic which touches the hearts of all ages and brims over with some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the stage.

Maria always wanted to be a nun since she was a little girl, but she's always getting into trouble. When Mother Abbess sends her to be a governess for the seven rowdy children of Captain Von Trapp, Maria soon learns that all these children need is a little love. 30th Annual Long's Park Art & Craft Festival - Recognized as one of American's top fine art and contemporary craft shows, this annual Labor Day weekend event features 200 exhibitors from across the country. Exquisite jewelry, magnificent paintings, trend-setting apparel and leather, beautiful ceramics and mixed media creations, stunning sculptures and much more will be on display. In addition there will be plenty of live music and gourmet cuisine all weekend long.

Crystal Gayle, Roy Clark and Ray Price: Crystal Gayle, the younger sister of country star Loretta Lynn, is known for the the smooth country pop sound that was often a recipe for crossover success in the 1970’s. Her biggest hit is “Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.”

Popular country singer/musician, Roy Clark delights audiences with not only his vocal talents but with his accomplishments on the guitar, banjo and mandolin. He is also well known for his TV appearances on Hee Haw for 24 years. Several of his hit songs include “Yesterday, When I Was Young,” “Somewhere Between Love and Tomorrow” and “If I Had It To Do All Over Again.”

Country crooner Ray Price hit super stardom during the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Favorite songs include “Crazy Arms, “ “Talk to Your Heart, “ “I'll Be There (If You Ever Want Me), If You Don't, Somebody Else Will” and “Release Me. ”

Landisville

26th Annual Amos Herr Park Country Fair -There will lots of Arts and crafts, food, and live entertainment. Special attractions include an Antique and Classic Car Show as well as helicopter rides. In case of rain, the fair will be held on September 25, 2008.

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire- Welcome to the 27th season of the Renaissance Faire. Lend your cheers and support as local media teams compete in the Annual Media Olympics.

      Oktoberfest Weekend: Pennsylvania Dutch goes Deutsch with a toast to micro-brewed ales from the Faire's very own Swashbuckler Pub. Ronks

The Amazing Maize Maze - As seen in Sports Illustrated for Kids, the Amazing Maize Maze is high on the list of "25 Cool Things To Do This Summer". Your kids will love trying to find their way out of a giant maze carved into a 5-acre corn field. The walls of the paths are made of giant corn stalks about 10 feet high. In addition to the maze, admission entitles you to all the regular farm activities such as hayrides, wagon rides, a hay chute giant slide, an obstacle course, a petting zoo, a bee hive observatory, plenty of games and much more. 3rd Annual Potato Festival - You and your family will enjoy this fun festival devoted to the potato. Special activities include potato eating contests, potato sack races, potato crafts, and tons of potato foods. There will also be two afternoon shows performed by Phredd, a fun kids performer who will have kids of all ages on their feet and singing along. All guests of the festival receive one free baked potato as a special thank you for attending the 2nd Annual Potato Festival.

Strasburg Heritage Day Antique and Craft Fair - Strasburg Heritage Day, now in its 36th year, features an outdoor antique and craft fair with up to 100 exhibit spaces in an open park setting. There will be plenty of food, music and a hand made quilt raffle. The Strasburg Museum will also be open.
